Additional Bartlett Data

Involving the Community

It would be difficult to find a community with a wider appeal for individuals, families and businesses. Bartlett is consistently ranked in the top tier of peer cities across America in terms of housing, education, safety and affordability. It is recognized as being among the best managed cities in the country. The community prides itself on the good work of the Fire and Police Departments, which together, have helped Bartlett to become the state's fifth safest city according to a Movoto 2017 ranking.

Regional Strategy

The municipalities and unincorporated areas of Shelby County understand that it is the strength of our combined region that makes us a top competitor for business growth and expansion. Shelby County is the most populous county in the State of Tennessee, and with the combined workforce and specialized capabilities of each of our municipalities, there are opportunities for companies of any type to be successful. It is this regional approach that sets Shelby County apart, and makes the long-term growth plan sustainable. Find out more by visiting the Shelby County Chamber Alliance website.
